Similar to our traditional classroom training, our online surveyor training option has been developed to enhance the knowledge and skills of existing timber and dampness surveyors, or individuals working towards becoming a surveyor within the preservation sector.

This training programme has been carefully constructed to provide both current surveyors and those working within the construction sector looking to become surveyors with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify, resolve and report upon problems relating to dampness, timber infestation and decay in buildings.

This course will provide candidates with the oppatunity to see a mock exam paper and have dedicated revsion time with your trainer. Aiming to provide confidence to candidates going on to sit their Damp exam. 

This course is available to all candidates sitting the Legal, Health & Safety exam to achieve one of our surveyor qualifications. Providing advice and guidance from industry experts, the PCA aims to ensure delegates are supported and feel confident when sitting their exams to help them reach their full potential and pass the Legal and Health & Safety examination.

The legal, health & safety examination is a requirement for the following qualifications: 

• Certificated Surveyor of Timber & Dampness in Buildings (CSTDB)
• Certificated Surveyor of Dampness in Buildings (CSDB)
• Certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing (CSSW)

The damp examination is a requirement for achieving either the ‘Certificated Surveyor of Timber & Dampness in Buildings (CSTDB)’ or ‘Certificated Surveyor of Dampness in Buildings (CSDB)’ qualification. 

The timber examination is a requirement for those who are working towards achieving the Certificated Surveyor of Timber & Dampness in Buildings CSTDB) qualification.
