Our volunteer committee chairs are essential for the running of our members’ sector groups. Our sector groups usually meet twice each year and as a volunteer chair, you would be expected to:

  • Chair and lead meetings at least twice each year
  • Follow the group’s Terms of Reference 
  • Maintain close links with the technical lead for the sector group between meetings, to ensure progress against agreed actions.

Am I suited to this role?

The suitable candidate should:

  • Be an advocate for the Property Care Association (PCA), supportive of our aims and objectives
  • Be a member or employed by a member company, and in good standing
  • Be used to taking the lead and managing small groups
  • Have good interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Have good time management
  • Be able to commit to the requirements of the role for a maximum three year term.

The Chair should ensure that they adhere to the PCA Code of Conduct and policies, at all times.
