This is a highly practical one day workshop which takes a look at best practice and the latest CIRIA C735 guidance on the verification of ground gas protection systems.
It is designed for on-site technicians who wish to keep up to speed with the requirements of good membrane installation practice and gain an understanding of the verification process to achieve a fit for purpose end product, and a safe property.

Who is this ground gas protection installation course for?

Structure of our ground gas protection installation training
This one day workshop is divided into three units:
- Introductions
- Hazardous gases and membranes
- Installation and best practice
- Practical workshop session
- C735 Guidance
- Understanding the verification process
Note: This training course is not part of any NVQ qualification. At the end of the workshop attendees will receive a certificate of knowledge and attendance.
Materials and tools required for training
Attendees will be provided with all gas membrane materials for the practical elements of the day. They will also be provided with specialist tooling* (heat guns, rollers, scissors, and the construction materials to form the temporary structures and details for the installation of the gas membrane).
* Any attendees who wish to supply their own heat gun and hand tools must ensure that the appliance has a valid PAT certificate & a visible PAT label attached.
