Changes to waste wood regulations
You may be aware that the Environment Agency (EA) has confirmed the withdrawal of ‘Regulatory Position Statement (RPS) 250’. Somewhat under the radar, this is a decision which will lead to changes in the regulations for waste wood handling. Whilst the impact remains unknown, Deputy CEO James Berry discusses some of the changes which members can read via the button below.

#IIWC23 - Meet the speakers for Session 1!
With just 4 weeks to go until the International Invasive Weed Conference, what can you expect from this year's event and who is on the speaker programme for Session 1?
William Weld from Certis Belchim will provide a brief outline of the physiological properties of Horsetail, and why herbicides have difficulty managing it.
Ard Reijtenbagh from Soilwise will share a ground-breaking method, shown to have remarkable potential in breaking down Japanese knotweed roots in a single treatment.
Dan Reglar and Ed Lewis from Railscape Ltd will demonstrate the effectiveness of controlling non-native species in hard-to-reach areas and how their drones are spraying herbicides in a controlled manner.
