Additional CITB Grant Support
Members who are in-scope to CITB, whether they pay the Levy or not, are entitled to claim grant for any training undertaken. There are several ways to access grants and training. The information below, sets out the latest grants and free training available for those in-scope employers, via CITB.
Enhanced Grant for Supervisory and Management Qualifications
Specific supervisory and management qualifications are now eligible for an enhanced grant. With £1,250 payable for supervisory and £1,500 for management qualifications, the enhanced grant is available for all qualifications achieved up to and including 31 March 2026.
The Supervisory grant is payable on level three and four qualifications (six and seven in Scotland) including in Occupational Work Supervision (Construction) and Surveying, Property and Maintenance.
The Management grant is payable on level six and seven qualifications (nine, ten and 11 in Scotland) including in Built Environment Design Management and Construction Contracting Operations Management.

Free qualification: CILM Level 3
CITB is also fully funding 10,500 Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) construction qualifications. The free courses will be available until March 2026, with training delivered free, the only cost being £154 to register with the awarding body.
The ILM Level 3 Leadership and Management Practice for the Construction and Built Environment Sector qualification consists of five modules including leadership and management practice for the construction and built environment sector and handling difficult situations.
The fully funded places are available via the OM Group or MKC Training Services.
Free CPD Training Courses
CITB is also offering five free continued professional development (CPD) training courses. Available via its e-learning platform, the short courses include fire safety awareness in construction and the built environment and fire safety in buildings.
