TrustMark benefits for wider membership
PCA contractor members will already be familiar with TrustMark, the government endorsed scheme to help consumers find reputable businesses, as they have been accredited by the scheme since it was established in 2005.
As a Scheme Operator, we ensure that our Contractor members meet TrustMark’s Framework Operating Requirements (on application and through our biennial audits) and they are then affiliated with the scheme, listed on the TrustMark website (to provide an additional route for consumers to find their details), able to use their logo on their marketing material as well as receiving a number of benefits at various companies.
Extending their scope
Following our continued work with TrustMark, we are pleased to confirm that they are extending their scope of specialists to recognise Independent/Freelance Surveyors, and Spray Foam Assessors.
These categories of membership will now be included within their register of trusted tradespeople (should they wish) and members working in these areas can benefit from further endorsement and, hopefully, increased business as consumers can find their details through an additional platform.
Maximise your profile
A reminder for those who are registered (or will be added shortly) to update your Business Portal to maximise your profile. This is a free platform within the TrustMark website to promote your business, add your logo, description of services and social media links. You can also view your dashboard within the platform to see how many times you appeared in customers’ search results, as well as your overall feedback rating. Further information on the Business Portal can be found here.
Currently, only approximately 30% of PCA members have ‘claimed’ their business portal or uploaded their logo. For further information on how to do this, you can contact [email protected] directly, or [email protected] for any other queries you may have.
