Supporting Mental Health Awareness
Running a business can have a huge impact on your mental health and our members health and wellbeing is very important to us. This is an extremely topical matter and your Association has been working hard to support mental health awareness over the past few months and, into the year ahead – recently staff at head office wore something yellow in support of ‘Young Minds UK’ on ‘World Mental Health Day’.
We are delighted to announce that in 2020 we will be running a number of two-day mental health first aid training courses. We have negotiated fantastic rates, delivering huge savings for members and what’s more, this is exclusively for PCA members. AND, for all those who are registered with CITB there is a £70 funding contribution available too!!

Membership Satisfaction Survey
PCA members will have hopefully received an email earlier this week regarding a Membership Satisfaction Survey that we have asked Independent Company – Hall Associates – to undertake on our behalf. The survey will enable us to ascertain what you think we should (or shouldn’t) be doing as your Trade Body and for us to formulate strategies to deliver these changes where possible.
As with all surveys, a greater number of responses received will provide a ‘truer’ reflection, and will enable us to shape the Association accordingly. Should you have any queries or wish to discuss further, please do not hesitate to contact [email protected]

PCA Codes of Practice can help members
Unfortunately the rain is playing havoc once again with flooding alerts in place up and down the country, particularly in the Midlands and South Yorkshire. We urge everyone to take care when travelling and for those members who’s phones are ringing off the hook, please remember that we have a number of technical documents available to you.
Our Codes of Practice for Flood Protection and the Recovery of Flood Damaged Buildings are very well respected and can be accessed via the button below.
