#IBPC2019 – What a conference it was!
The feedback is in and what a conference it was! We heard from many industry experts on a range of key subjects throughout the day, culminating with Nicholas Donnithorne’s unique presentation on beetles – who knew that that 70s English rock band ELO has helped to improve our understanding of wood-boring insects, or that common furniture beetles are fans of status quo?!!

Building Regulations Manual Update
One of the key recommendations from the Independent Review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety was to reinstate the Manual to the Building Regulations. This Manual should set out the key stages in the building control process and PCA members have been given the opportunity to form a working group to comment on the tone, structure and content of the manuall.
This first meeting, hosted by the Building Regulations, demonstrates the high regard in which the PCA and its members are held and presents a huge opportunity to provide input into high level regulation. To attend this meeting at the PCA Head Office on 10th December at 11am, please contact [email protected].
