DEFRA Consultation
For those with an interest in Invasive weeds, Defra has started a consultation process for the monitoring/management of invasive plants and we would encourage anyone with an interest to comment and make proposals.
Rest-assured the PCA will be making representations to ensure that Government agencies recognise the important contribution that PCA members make towards achieving effective control of these species.

Step into Autumn with some training
Ground Gas Protection Measures – Getting it Right
You asked, we delivered…. For professionals associated with general ground gas protection who wish to keep up to speed with the requirements of the latest standards, good practice and successful implementation to ensure safe development.
“Good basis and guidance to assist in developing future strategies and developing better standards of design.” (course delegate)
Waterproofing Awareness
This course will enable team members to consider how they need to work to fit in with the waterproofing team to help avoid technical mistakes and project delays etc. The training is at a level for those who will benefit from a basic understanding of structural waterproofing, and for whom a technician level course would be too in depth.
