'Watershock' in new builds
We have written and spoken a lot about the issue of condensation and mould in UK housing recently. Sadly dampness is not restricted to just social and private rental properties, we are hearing of an increase in condensation and wet water streaming down from the roof space, termed ‘watershock,’ in new builds too.

Webinar: The invasive invasion - Are our homes being taken over?

Just announced - RPSA & CABE's Strategic Alliance
On Wednesday at the Residential Property Surveyors Association (RPSA) conference, it was announced that CABE (Chartered Association for Builders & Engineers) and RPSA propose to enter a Strategic Alliance to further the development of residential surveying in the UK.

HSE is set to hold an upcoming course on Manual Handling for Assessors. Many people work day to day with manual handling and according to HSE, poor manual handling is one of the leading causes of occupational ill health.
