Launch of PCA ‘Hub’ for Green Homes Grant Scheme
With the new ‘Green Homes Grant Scheme’ looming, we are delighted to launch a BRAND NEW ‘HUB’ for both PCA Members & ALL Homeowners/Landlords that breaks down the information provided by the Government & TrustMark into meaningful, useable guidance for all.
The Green Homes Grant Scheme is a topic we have been discussing via several blogs for some weeks now and undoubtedly will be for some time to come. We have shared some concerns and thoughts with members, but are very aware that there is a huge stream of information being released.
This ‘hub’ has been created in order to protect homeowners and help PCA members with better information and guidance you can pass onto your customers and clients.
We urge PCA members to take a look through the pages and familiarise yourself with this ‘hub’ of information – your specialist knowledge will be required!

Save energy but not by papering over the cracks
As we get ever closer to the launch of the Governments ‘Green Homes Voucher Scheme’ your CEO Steve Hodgson highlights the need to investigate any structural movement before covering the walls with insulation. Save energy YES…but lets not do it by ‘papering over the cracks’. Lets do it RIGHT!

EU invasive weed legislation – will Brexit make a difference?
We notified members last week of the delayed publication of Defra’s Guidance regarding non-native invasive weeds covered by the Invasive Alien Species (Permitting and Enforcement) Order 2019 (IAS).
We know that these Regulations can sometimes be difficult to put in to perspective, so your Technical Manager Peter Fitzsimons has ‘teased-out’ some of the differences, the significance and the legal duties to help members. Click on the button below to read more….
