Why the PCA supports Mental Health Awareness Week

You may have seen that it is Mental Health Awareness Week. With team health and well being in mind, CEO Steve Hodgson shares an important message as to why the PCA is a supporter not just as an organisation, but as individuals too.

During this past year many of us may have suffered mentally in some capacity, or known someone who has, and we urge all of our members to remember that their Association is always here to help, support and listen. You can access Steve’s message by clicking on the button below…

The unsung heroes in the waterproofing world

Our structural waterproofing members know of many ‘unsung heroes in their waterproofing world’. The experienced waterproofing technicians that have helped put critical waterproofing design into practice countless times. So why are so many large commercial waterproofing projects continuing to ignore the formula for reliable procurement models and take the risk with appointing unsuitably skilled and qualified contractors…?

It’s a question your Technical manager James discusses in his latest blog which members can read by clicking on the button below.

Launch of ‘Info Hub’ for Invasive Species Week

We are pleased to share with all that we have launched a NEW ‘Invasive Weed Info Hub’ ahead of Invasive Species Week between 24th & 30th May 2021.

Enhancing awareness of invasive weeds and how best to manage and control these menaces is something very close to your Association and its many invasive weed members. We are very much taking the opportunity to help promote awareness, best practice and how to best deal with invasive weed related problems.

This ‘hub’ is packed with information to help guide, inform and educate on all things associated with invasive weeds and we encourage our PCA members and all construction/property based professionals to get involved as we continue to raise awareness on protecting biodiversity, habitats and our environment and prevent the spread of invasive weeds.
