Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Verification of Ground Gas Protection Systems

• To enroll onto the assessment, you will be required to complete an application process. This will ensure that each individual has the necessary experience and knowledge to be able to complete the assessment process. 
• Along with the application pack, you will be required to submit two of your most recent verification plans, your Continuous Professional Development (CPD) record, and your CV. These will then be reviewed by a group of assessors.
• No payment is required until the application has been accepted by the assessors. 

• Once your application has been accepted and payment has been received, you will be assigned an assessor. They will complete an induction with you either face-to-face, or remotely, depending upon your location.
• Your assessor will run through how they will work with you to collect the required information and build your portfolio. Your portfolio will provide evidence of your knowledge within this sector, which will be demonstrated through written and verbal assessments, relevant supporting documentation and site visits.

All submissions towards your portfolio will be sent to your assessor, who will then provide feedback to ensure you are meeting the requirements set by the awarding body - Awarding Body for the Built Environment (ABBE).  

You will have 15 months to complete and submit your portfolio for assessment.

Your portfolio will be made up of 7 units:

• Design Principles and Application for Construction in the Built Environment
• Materials for Construction in the Built Environment
• Health, Safety and Welfare in the Construction Environment
• Principles of Construction and Maintenance of Buildings
• Confirming Work Meets Quality Standards in the Workplace
• Verification and Inspection of Ground Gas Protection Systems
• Principles of Regulatory Control Procedures and Legislation

You assessor will compile your portfolio and send to out Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) who will review and either accept or refer your portfolio. If your portfolio meets the qualification requirements, you will be awarded a Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Verification of Ground Gas Protection Systems. 

This qualification will now grant you access to a Gold Skilled CSCS card.
