Richard Schofield of Phlorum, Mark Edwards of Timberwise and Annabelle Webster of South East Timber and Damp were voted onto the Board by members of the Association at its recent Annual General Meeting, held at the University of Warwick.
Andrew Bradshaw, of Remedial Treatment Consultants (RTC) chairs the PCA Board, which comprises of nine directors. He said: “The PCA broke many of its operational records in 2016, having more members then ever in its 86 year history, the delivery of more training to students and the creation of more apprenticeships.
“From invasive plant management, flood protection, underground waterproofing, the issues around retrofit insulation, domestic ventilation, moisture in buildings and the future of timber preservations, the PCA has been active, challenged convention, provided representation and continued to develop knowledge.
“In the last twelve months the association has also embarked upon a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with University College London, expanded its events to include three first-class conferences, and doubled the size of the head office.
“Throughout this time, the Board has provided the guidance that has seen this continued, sustainable growth.
“These are exciting times for the association and we look forward to welcoming the new directors to continue the good work achieved so far.”
